Maha Aon

Maha Aon is Senior Public Health Advisor at DIGNITY –Danish Institute against Torture. Her work focuses on the nexus between human rights and public health, and she coordinates a series of fact sheets on the health consequences of torture and ill-treatment methods. Maha is a PhD candidate focusing on the health of incarcerated persons. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in public health and has over 20 years’ experience in international development and public health.
