The eruption of a volcano in East Java has left villages blanketed in ash and mud. Residents are struggling to clear their homes and streets, after the eruption of Mount Semeru on Wednesday. It’s one of Indonesia’s most active volcanoes and sits on the Pacific Ring of Fire.
