Syrian president calls for global support amid Israeli attacks

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa called on the world to “stand beside us” amid Israeli attacks as the country rebuilds after decades of Assad family rule. Al-Sharaa is the first Syrian leader in almost sixty years to address the UN General Assembly.
